About the role
We’re looking for a Finance and Support Officer to join our team. The role is part-time (12 hours per week, ideally to be worked across Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays) and based at our clinic premises. A varied and interesting opportunity, the role is key to enhancing the work of HealthLink360 via management of our finance and operational procedures. Reporting to the Managing Director, the core of the role is to cover all aspects of the day-to-day finance management activities, including bookkeeping, monthly reporting, payroll administration and supporting the annual budget process. In addition to the core financial tasks, the role also includes operational support tasks.
Bringing demonstrable relevant knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, you will also have prior experience in a similar finance officer role. Previous experience working for a not-for-profit or charity organisation would be desirable. Experience of using Microsoft365 (sharepoint, word, excel, outlook) is essential and we ask that you are proficient in the use of accounting and payroll software. You’ll bring demonstrable relevant professional knowledge acquired through training and experience and will be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative without close supervision and as part of a small team.
With good organisational and time-management skills you’ll be trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with confidence and sensitivity. You’ll have excellent accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll be able to communicate effectively and pleasantly in writing, by phone and in person with a range of people from varied backgrounds, including staff, clients and suppliers. An interest in travel health or experience of living or travelling overseas would be an advantage. And of course, a willingness to work under our organisational vision, Christian ethos and values of care, compassion, stewardship, service and respect.
