Introducing our employee counselling assistance service – a tool we've developed to benefit members of your team, and your organisation by supporting improved engagement, higher productivity, fewer sick days and lower rates of burnout and turnover.

Whatever an employee’s background or role in life, they may occasionally experience times where they struggle with their emotions, mental health and wellbeing.

Concerns may be linked to work stress or organisational issues, or can arise from other aspects of life including:

  • Personal life issues

  • Work/life balance

  • Mental health issues

  • Financial burden

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Vicarious trauma or personal crisis

  • Faith or spiritual issues

An option for an individual to be able to reach out for readily available, external trusted support at these times is invaluable.

By pre-agreeing a tailored service package with HealthLink360, your staff would be easily able to arrange to speak with a member of our psychological services team and to access either counselling or supervision support, as they need it, without need for pre-approval or employer referral.

What is Counselling? Counselling offers a safe and confidential space for you to work through issues that are unsettling you or that you feel are holding you back. It is a non-judgemental relationship and gives time to focus on what you feel is important. The emphasis is on helping you to find your own solutions rather than telling you what you should do. Counselling can help with a range of issues including some mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and stress; troubling emotions; worry; relationship difficulties; life events such as bereavement or loss; trauma and challenging events.

What is Supervision? Supervision offers a safe and confidential space for someone to discuss their work situation and their role within their organisation. It gives space to process feelings about work, relationships with colleagues and their own reactions and responses in this setting. It can be especially helpful for people in third sector and caring professions who are responsible for the work and wellbeing of others. It helps the individual to gain perspective, understand and iron out difficulties and set boundaries as they explore their working life by being challenged within the supervision context.
